About Me	Dr.Chandan Chattoraj received his degrees, viz. B.E., M.Tech. and Ph.D from Regional Engineering College Durgapur (National Institute of Technology Durgapur), West Bengal, India in the domain of Mechanical Engineering. He was awarded with University Gold Medal. He has 22 years’ experience in teaching & research. At present he is Professor & Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, West Bengal, India. He authored many research papers in International & National Journals & Conferences. He authored book/s e.g. ‘Theory and Applications of Robotics’, Lap Lambert Academic Publishing, ISBN-13: 978-620-0-26807-5, ISBN-10: 620026807X, EAN: 9786200268075, 2019. During the Coronavirus Pandemic, students are taught following the mode of online teaching-learning process. The same timetable followed in physical mode is being followed online. Students are emailed a link to the Google Meet Class session along with class notes of the period(s), presentation slides and YouTube videos, recorded video of theory & lab classes. They can click on it to go directly into this session for the class. Each day’s online class is followed by multiple choice questions (MCQs) in Google Quiz Forms. Submission of this from individual student is marked as attendance as well as formative assessment. An audio/video communication in Google meet platform (live class) helps the students for clarification and clearing the doubts. Weekly assignment is given in line with exams such as GATE, etc.	Link
