Dr. Dinesh K. Pradhan is a distinguished academician and researcher known for his significant contributions in the fields of computer science and information technology. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Durgapur, Dr. Pradhan has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Information Technology at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, India. Dr. Pradhan has been associated with the organization since 2003. His academic journey is complemented by a rich industry experience also. Dr. Pradhan has made substantial contributions to research, particularly in the areas of data science, machine intelligence, neural networks, and more recently, addressing societal challenges. His recent publication, "Empowering Women and the Environment: A Smart Approach to Menstrual Waste Disposal," and the corresponding patented design of the "Smart Menstrual Waste Disposal System" highlight his commitment to socially impactful research. Throughout his career, Dr. Dinesh K. Pradhan has demonstrated a holistic approach to academia, seamlessly integrating his technical expertise with a broader perspective that addresses real-world issues. With over two decades of diverse professional experience, I have developed a strong foundation in the field of computer science and information technology. Since 2003, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE/IT at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. In this role, my responsibilities include designing and delivering curriculum, conducting research, and mentoring students in their academic and professional pursuits. Prior to my academic tenure, I worked as an Internet Networking Administrator at VSNL, Ultadanga, Kolkata, from 2001 to 2002, where I honed my skills in managing and optimizing network infrastructure. Earlier, at NIIT Ltd., Royed Street, Kolkata, from 2000 to 2001, I served as a Network Administrator and Faculty, contributing to both technical administration and instructional aspects. Additionally, from 1998 to 2000, I worked at Auchtel Products Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, focusing on system administration and software development. This diverse background has equipped me with a comprehensive skill set that spans academia, network administration, and software development.
