Tapas Mondal received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad (Maharashtra), M.E. degree in Microwave Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT Mesra), Ranchi, and Ph.D. in Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (IIEST Shibpur), West Bengal, in the years 2001, 2003, and 2018, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. His research interests include planar antenna, microwave devices, wireless communication and intelligent transport systems applications. He has more than 20 publications in various national/international journals and conferences. He is a member of IEEE and life member of ISTE. He is a reviewer of IEEE Transaction, IET, Elsevier, John Wiley and PIER journals. He has organized IEEE Conferences, Workshops and Faculty Development Programme in the capacity of session chair / Speaker.

3. Editorial Board Members of the International Journal of Applied Control, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IJACEEE).

6. We have organized an one week IEEE Co-sponsored Workshop on Metamaterial and Metamaterial Assisted Vacuum Electronic Devices as an Organizing Chair and was a Speaker on the topic of Gain Enhancement and Coupling Isolation of Antenna Using Metamaterials, 29th May to 2nd June, 2023.

7. We have organized Faculty Development Programme as an Organizing Chair and was a Speaker of Faculty Development Programme On Recent Trends And Advances In Electronics.

8. We have organized IEEE International Conference in the capacity of a Sponsorship Chair of IEEE International Interdisciplinary Conference on Mathematics, Engineering and Science (MESIICON 2022).

9. We have organized IEEE Conference in the capacity of a Technical Program Chair / Session Chair of IEEE National Conference on Emerging Trends on Sustainable Technology and Engineering Applications (NCETSTEA2020).

10. We have organized IEEE Workshop as an Organizing Chair and was a Speaker of IEEE Microwave Engineering and Applications (IEEE MEA2015).

11. We have organized college level Technical festival as Convenor, HORIZON for 15 years.

1) Expertise in ECAD tools (Ansys Electronics Desktop, Microwave office, ADS, IE3D etc). 2) Work experience with phased array antennas and systems. 3) Provide RF solution for Intelligent Transport Systems. 4) Proficient in SolidWorks ECAD software for the design and fabrication of microwave RF circuits like Microstrip Planar Antenna and Microwave Filters
