Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur successfully organized a Career Counselling Programme on the theme "Transforming Tech-Talent Into Healthcare Leaders", jointly organized by the Career Counselling Cell (Training & Placement Office) and the Core Committee – MBA (Hospital Management).
The programme was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay S. Pawer, Principal, BCREC, Prof. (Dr.) K. M. Hossain, Vice Principal, BCREC and the distinguished guest speaker Ms. Ishani Chakrabarty, Vice President – Operations, The Mission Hospital, Durgapur.
Ms. Chakrabarty shared valuable insights into the rapidly evolving healthcare industry, highlighting how engineering graduates can build impactful careers in hospital management and healthcare leadership. The interactive session motivated students to explore emerging opportunities where technology and healthcare converge.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the B.Tech 2026 Batch, who gained practical knowledge about career pathways, leadership, innovation, and the future of healthcare management.
